Netball

 

Netball is thriving at Caterham and we have an excellent reputation within both the county and the region for the quality and success of our teams. The girls are encouraged to train hard, play hard, but most of all to enjoy themselves.

Fixtures are played during the week and on Saturdays, with each age group having an A, B and C team (as well as a D team for the U12’s and U13s). We compete in both the National Schools and Surrey Schools tournaments, as well as the District League and Trinity group tournaments.

The girls put an enormous amount of time and effort into their netball, whether it is during games lessons, after-school practices, fixtures, skills club, shooting club or early morning fitness. As a result of this they experience many rewarding moments throughout the season, both as individuals and as teams.

We have many talented girls who we are able to put forward for trials for the Surrey Netball Satellite and County Academy trials. We currently have six players in the Satellite Academy, two of whom are in the elite squad, and we have two players in the Surrey County Academy squad.

We have regular tours in place for the girls, including trips to Portsmouth, Loughborough, Dubai and the Caribbean.
