Top Gold Award for Aidan at British Physics Olympiad
Back in November, the annual British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) competition threw open its doors to volunteers willing to tackle the initial, punishing three-hour ‘Round One’ paper. Of the 37 pupils who entered this competition designed to test the best Upper Sixth physicists, 23 secured a medal, including sixteen Lower Sixth pupils and one Fifth Year pupil.
A huge congratulations to Aidan T (Upper Sixth) who achieved the top prize a ‘Top Gold’ award, placing him in the top 5% of the nearly 3,800 students that entered. In addition to this, special shout outs go to Narayan M (Lower Sixth) for achieving a gold award, and Fifth Year Oliver G for already achieving a Silver (what an achievement!). Well done to all who entered.
