The Great Big Dance Off: Gravity Dance to Sixth Place

This week, our three dance crews headed to the regional heats of The Great Big Dance Off: a national competition with hundreds of schools competing.

In our first ever competition of this type, all three crews enjoyed watching many impressive performances at a very high level as well as performing brilliantly themselves. 

Gravity (junior crew) did themselves proud with a demanding and powerful routine to Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’. Adrenaline (inter crew) performed an upbeat and dynamic routine to Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, whilst Fusion (senior crew) wowed the audience with a high octane, fast paced performance of Beyonce’s ‘One Night Only’. The judges were particularly impressed with all three crews’ audience appeal, synchronization and strength. Gravity are to be particularly congratulated on being placed sixth overall in their age category – a wonderful achievement.
