Sixth Form Vertical Buddies Support

Our Vertical Buddies Programme which brings mentorship and advice to our senior pupils has now entered its fourth year thanks and the dedication of everyone involved, including Mrs. McVitty, The programme helps foster connections across year groups providing new pupils entering the Sixth Form with access to a support network that extends beyond just teachers. Students have the opportunity to connect with existing pupils and learn the inner workings of the school giving them a fast track to feeling settled in a new community. Additionally, the programme encourages responsibility among the older students who serve as role models for their peers. As the programme continues to grow, its impact on school culture becomes increasingly evident, with a greater sense of community throughout the Sixth Form.
