Pupils Help Santa
This week and last week volunteers from Fifth Year, Lower and Upper Sixth have been joining volunteers from Rotary Club of Caterham to go door-to-door collecting money for two local charities. One is the School’s chosen charity this year, Shooting Star Chase, for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, and Bletchingley Skills Centre which provides adult education classes for disabled people.
The total this year, from over six nights’ collecting, is likely to go over £4,000, with £923 being collected last Friday night.
In January pupils will receive certificates from Rotary Club to thank them for their efforts in addition to cheques being presented to the charities.
