Physics Pupils on Top Form Nationally
For the second week in a row, Caterham’s physicists have been on top form nationally. This week saw the results of the Intermediate Physics Challenge run by the University of Oxford. Caterham once again secured a host of medals including four Golds (top 18% nationwide), 11 Silvers and one Bronze medal.
Whilst securing any medal in these challenges is no mean feat, a big congratulations must go out to our Gold medallists Alex M, William C and Elliot M (Fifth Year) and Tiffany K (Fourth Year. A special mention goes to Alex M and William C whose scores placed them in the top 2% of all 4700+ competitors. Aimed to challenge the very best Fifth Year students, the physics department are very proud of all our Fourth Year entrants who between them totted up an impressive eight medals (including a Gold!)
