Netball Academy launches Half-Term Camps
Over May half-term Caterham Netball Academy successfully launched netball camps over two days catering for girls aged 11 and under, and 12+.
The first day saw Surrey Storm Superleague player Yaz Parsons join us for the U11 camp. Throughout the day the girls worked on their attacking, defending and shooting skills. They then put their hard work to good use in a fun versatility tournament with everyone rotating and trying new positions.
Thursday was the turn of 12 and over girls and we welcomed other Surrey Storm Superleague mid courter; Tallisa Haynes. The format of the day saw the girls work through attacking and defensive principles as well as getting to grip with some ball handling, footwork and agility based practices. The girls’ really impressed with their hard working attitudes throughout the day, listening and absorbing all the coaching on offer.
If you’d like to get involved and improve your netball, camps will be running over the Summer across Two set of dates including; Monday 23 – Tuesday 24 July and Monday 3 – Tuesday 4 September. We’ll be welcoming girls aged 7 – 16 of all levels of ability catered for.
