Music Scholars Impress

Once again, the Wilberforce Hall was filled with wonderful music, this time from our talented Music Scholars. Pupils from first year to Upper Sixth performed a wonderful range of challenging and impressive music, that included baroque masterpieces such as Bach’s Violin Concerto (third movement) performed by Braydn C. The programme also included more modern pieces- Mathilde G (L6) performing the moving ‘Remembrances’ by John Williams, from the film Schindler’s List. All of our scholars performed with passion and precision and it should be noted that most pupils also play other instruments in addition. To achieve such polished and accomplished performances is testament to their dedication and commitment. We were delighted to have in our audience, a number of visitors to the school- year 6 pupils who are considering their own musical journeys. They were astonished at the level and standard of Caterham School scholars and left the concert feeling inspired and motivated. A huge thank you to all performers in this most stylish recital.
