Model United Nations
Fourth Year pupils had the opportunity to take part in a Model United Nations activity this week giving them an early taster of Sixth Form politics. Representing eight countries they debated and voted on a climate change resolution put forward by a UN member state. Research, negotiation and analytical skills were tested and developed in some very lively debates. They did not manage to reach consensus so the motion was not carried, but everyone came away with a clear understanding of the importance of building global links and alliances.
