Le Meilleur Pâtissier (French Bake off)
First Year French have this week revealed yet many more talents in French – but also in baking!
During our Caterham French Bake off 2024, First Year French pupils have amazed their judges with some delicious “tarte aux pommes” and Madeleines”. William J., Oliver K. Upper Sixth and Aimee L. Fourth Year (1st prize winner of Caterham French Bake off 2021!) had the difficult job of judging our talented bakers. They commented, in French, on aspect, texture, taste, creativity and baking.
Well done to Elissa L, who won 3rd place and baked some excellent Madeleines.
Congratulations to Beatrice M. and Daniel W. According to the judges, their “tarte aux pommes” and madeleines were so “divines” (heavenly) that they both won 1st place.
Bravo again to all participants and thank you to our Fourth Year and Sixth Formers for their help.
