Junior Science Club
Last Friday, Junior Science Club paid a visit to ZSL London Zoo with the aim of undertaking an investigation into their favourite animal. From sleeping sloths and nocturnal aye-ayes to engineering leaf-cutter ants and tree-top munching giraffes, the zoo showcases all forms of animal life and made it very hard to pick a favourite! The highlight however surely had to be the three play-fighting Sumatran tiger cubs, a now critically endangered species (the rarest and smallest subspecies of tiger!). We learnt a great deal about how London Zoo manages the collaborative global breeding programme for these awesome animals.
