Innovation in Education Talk
This week our Director of Innovation, Adam Webster delivered a TEDx talk to a sold-out audience at the World Wildlife Foundation’s Living Planet Centre in Woking. He spoke on the subject of innovation in education, using the work being done at Caterham to illustrate his hopes for how education will adapt to the modern world and an unpredictable future. He closed his talk by saying: “One Elon Musk is great, but we need more people with big ideas and the wherewithal to see them through, so that the future is not created by an elite group of visionaries, but by everyone.” He believes that increasingly the pupils at Caterham are understanding the importance of the opportunities presented by the digital world and that the school stands as a beacon for innovation in both teaching and learning and the opportunities we are offering our pupils to interact and engage with technology. The talk will be available online within the next few weeks.
