Ice Skating and Seasonal Fun
Fifty boarders and five staff enjoyed a lovely Sunday on a trip to Guildford. The morning was spent at the ice rink at the Guildford Spectrum. All of the boarders (and three of the staff) braved the ice and had a great time. It was lovely to see the more experienced skaters in the group supporting the first time skaters and by the end of the session (almost) everyone was gliding gracefully and confidently around the ice.
We then made the short journey into the centre of Guildford where the boys and girls were able to buy lunch and had a little free time to explore the Christmas market in Guildford’s historic High Street. A snow machine and a street performance from a local choir added to the festive atmosphere.
