Hans Woyda Maths Challenge
In the third round of the Hans Woyda Maths Challenge, held in early December, Caterham faced Nonsuch Girls School at home. Four students came from across the school, all aware this crucial round would decide the team that made it through to the final.
The first few rounds saw the two schools trade points evenly, ending round four drawing on 25 points each. However, in the final two speed rounds Caterham pulled out a solid and uncatchable lead. By the end of the competition Caterham were 52 v 39 ahead.
With three of the teams in our league each with two wins and one loss, qualification will come down to points difference. We await the result in good hope!
