Gold Rush from UK Bebras Challenge
Caterham’s Computer Science pupils have a lot to celebrate after achieving their biggest ever hoard of gold awards in the UK Bebras Challenge. An impressive total of 86 pupils were awarded gold certificates, placing them in the top 10 per cent of pupils across the country. This outstanding accomplishment has earned them the opportunity to progress to the highly prestigious Oxford University Computing Challenge. This invitation-only event aims to encourage and challenge pupils to further develop their skills in computational thinking and produce programmed solutions to complex problems. The event is highly competitive and only the most talented and dedicated are selected to participate. Caterham’s pupils have demonstrated exceptional talent in the field of computer science, and their achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft.
