Future Proofing with Partner Primaries
Teachers from five primary schools in the East Surrey Learning Partnership attended a training session last week in our Prep Innovation Centre. Audley Primary shared their experiences with ‘Crumble Kits’ (robotics and coding) and made these available to other schools in the group. Mr Lang took us through how to harness Green Screen technology for use in classroom projects. All of this is underpinned by our Resources Library and reflects the need to share expertise to develop a generation ready to contribute to the future world.
The second ESLP teacher event of the term was a boost to teacher wellbeing, as well as a useful practical session to share techniques using pottery and ceramics in the classroom. Hosted by Caterham Prep, teachers form St Francis, St John’s, Audley, Clifton Hill and Furzefield attended. All are now keen to start creative projects, important in themselves, but also linked to Global Citizenship and other curriculum topics.
