First and Second Year Trip to Normandy

30 intrepid First and Second Years enjoyed four days in Normandy at the start of the Easter break. We stayed in a Chateau and took part in many fun activities ranging from a market mission in Dieppe to baguette making to a nature walk through the marshes of the Baie de Somme. Much French was spoken thanks to our two ‘animateurs/entertainment staff’ at the Chateau and many games of football, consumption of churros (not a French delicacy but delicious nonetheless) and French chocolate were enjoyed.

The pupils behaved wonderfully and this inaugural trip to Normandy was a great success. We will be back and keep our fingers crossed for the same amazing weather next time.
