Eusebia Hope, Mud Run Complete!

Last weekend Caterham pupils, parents and a Caterham Trustee braved frozen mud for a run to raise funds to build a dormitory for the Eusebia Hope Centre. The Centre provides a home for around 50 orphaned and abandoned street children in rural Kenya, founded by Caterham parents a decade ago.  Reliable nutrition, shelter and individual care has now enabled every child to integrate into local mainstream schools, where they are thriving. We are a grassroots charity, with every pound donated going straight to Kenya, stretched to achieve maximum positive impact on the lives of children who have no-one else to support them. Following a Trustee visit to the Centre in 2024, a new dormitory was identified as vital for the children.

Christine Nyaga-Black, Claire & Tim Dunn, Clare & Chris Khan, Alison Park, Susie Brain, Louise & Gary Dubell and Fi & David Fogelman are just some of the Caterham parents past and present who got involved with the slippery course, generally outpaced by Caterham past, present and future pupils Natasha N-B, Cesca & Alfred D, Ava D, Imogen B & Alice S. ‘It takes a village…’, and anyone who is interested in supporting us in any way should drop a line to [email protected] or a pound to justgiving.com/page/eusebiahope-5krun
