Dr. Ashley Garber, of the Caterham School History Department is now a published author! Renegotiating First World War Memory: The British and American Legions, 1938-1946 is a fascinating examination of the cognitive adaptation required by veterans of the Great War as they came to terms with the renewal of hostilities in 1939.
