Design Leaders
Hot on the heels of last year’s joint winners of the academic prize for Design, Technology and Engineering, this year sees our Upper Sixth Caterham girls continuing to blaze a trail. Elyna and Franchesca are both applying to read Architecture at Cambridge – and off their own bat have set up and successfully ran a DT Club for younger pupils. Indeed, the whole Upper Sixth Form Design and Technology class of 4 girls and 2 boys have made incredible strides with their Rhinoceros software skills and 3D printing and are entering the national ‘Starpack’ competition. Head of Department, Claire Wilkinson, is proud of the class’s achievement thus far and has high hopes for success – we will keep you posted on how they get on!
