Coaching Skills for Parents: Learning to Learn Programme
As part of Caterham School’s award-winning Learning and Teaching programme, Mr Kim Wells hosted an evening dedicated to coaching skills for parents and the role such skills can play in building confidence and self-sufficiency in our children. We welcomed Tracy Sinclair, Board member of the International Coach Federation who, alongside Mr Wells, supported parents through a range of coaching exercises and skills.
Parents learned about the power of a coaching approach, both for some conversations with their children and in their professional lives and discovered a few of the most important coaching models before putting them into practice with coaching in pairs.
The coaching evening was part of Caterham School’s ongoing Learning to Learn Programme. Details of future events for parents will be published through the newsletter and online.
