CLIO History Prizes Awarded
Every half-term, the History Department is delighted to award the CLIO History Prize to three pupils who show particular promise, aptitude, endeavour, and enthusiasm for the subject and are thus considered deserving of recognition. The prize is split three ways to recognise the talents of a senior, middle, and junior school historian, with all receiving a certificate, chocolate, and a book of their choosing. Congratulations to our winners this half-term:
Senior Prize: Ria M – The Time Travellers Guide to Elizabethan England, by Ian Mortimer.
Middle Prize: Scarlet L – Sapiens, by Yuval Noah Harari.
Junior Prize: Lilian D B – Personality and Power: Builders and Destroyers of Modern Europe, by Ian Kershaw.
Our winners are pictured here with Mr. Hosking, Head of History.
