CaterhamConnected Insight Evening Hong Kong: Smart Health
Monday evening in Hong Kong saw a buzzing gathering of Old Cats (1981-2024), parents and staff coming together to listen to a remarkable conversation around the future of technology in the health sector.
Mr Jones started the discussions by posing questions to an innovation entrepreneur, Justin Chan, who introduced a groundbreaking portable medical imaging device that puts diagnostic power into the hands of everyone. This exciting development was met with enthusiasm, as Justin spoke alongside three medical doctors, all Old Cats, who shared their insights on common illnesses and how this technology could aid in early prevention.
A healthy debate followed on the pros and cons of using technology for diagnostics, with the panelists acknowledging both the potential and challenges of such innovations. There was a deep appreciation of each other’s professions.
Following the discussion, with everyone feeling more informed and inspired, the room continued to fizz with conversation, the warmth and camaraderie of the HK CaterhamConnected community was evident, a testament to the strength of the Caterham spirit as it continues to grow globally.
Thanks to Dr Michelle Lueng (OC 2010), Dr Albee Mak (OC 2015), Dr Christopher Wong (2012), Justin Chan and to Kelvin Tang (OC 2011) for hosting us at Soho House for this special event.
