Cadets take to the Skies
Five cadets had the chance to take part in some air experience flying at RAF Benson, led by Flt Lt Arrol-Barker last week. The fog in the morning caused some concern over whether the conditions were fit for flying, however at Benson the weather soon cleared up, with plenty of gaps in the cloud cover to allow for aerobatics. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience as we got to take control of the aircraft and fly through some extreme manoeuvres unassisted. The pilots were keen to share their experience in the RAF and teach us some flying techniques. Overall it was a fantastic day, thanks to those who helped organise it.
