Cadets Loop the Loop
On Thursday 11 May eight RAF cadets travelled to RAF Benson near Oxford to take part in Air Experience Flying (AEF). All eight cadets flew a 20-30 minute sortie in the basic training aircraft used by the Royal Air Force, the Grob Tutor. For five of the cadets this was their first flight, and all seemed to enjoy the start of their aviation journey. For the more seasoned cadets this gave them the chance to fully engage in a series of aerobatic manoeuvres, including loops, barrel rolls and stall turns. The cadets were lucky to have excellent service instructors who allowed them to control the aircraft as much as possible.
