Business Essay Competition
Our Upper Sixth Form pupils have spent the summer improving their understanding of the fast-changing pressures facing firms around the world with our annual Business Essay Competition. This allowed them the opportunity to delve into topics such as Business ethics, the future of Bricks & Mortar retail and Maslow’s Theory of Motivation. No matter the title chosen, it was clear that all had improved their ability to apply business theory to practical examples, whilst also balancing the use of a wide range of sources. Worthy runners up include Jess, Renee, Felix and Charlotte, but the fantastic winning entry came from Joanna. Her essay exploring the history of advertising and how businesses have modernised their approach for a digital world was thought-provoking and very current- well done indeed! Congratulations to everyone who took part and keep an eye out for some featured essays in the annual Preview magazine later this year!
