Adventures on the Slopes – Snow Space, Salzburg

At the very end of the Autumn Term, 88 pupils from Fourth Year to Upper Sixth headed off to Austria in search of snow. They were in luck with a picture-perfect setting at Snow Space, Salzburg – Flachau! With mixed skiing abilities, everyone was placed into small groups, dependent upon skill and experience, with dedicated instructors so that they could all get the most from their five days on the slopes. By the end of the week, everyone, even those new to the sport, were able to ski across the valleys confidently enjoying the wide choice of runs. Day 4 saw the popular animal themed fancy dress day with everyone donning their outfit of choice – a sight to behold! Off the slopes, our skiers were able to enjoy lots of activities including riding the slides at the outdoor water park, tobogganing, trip to the local village for shopping and pizza, hotly contested pool competition and to round off an amazing week, Quiz Night and an Awards Ceremony! Thanks to everyone for making the trip such an enjoyable experience.
