100 Years of the RAF
The Library is marking 100 years of the RAF with a series of displays. Several pupils and staff have made model aircraft which have been suspended alongside the propeller from the Blackburn B2 Trainer aircraft once owned by the CCF. If you haven’t visited yet please drop in to see various artefacts from across the years including War in a Stringbag, the autobiography by Old Caterhamian Charles Lamb; the story of Mrs Whitwell’s grandparents who all served in the RAF; fiction and non-fiction books covering topics ranging from engineering to food, as well as information on the RED Arrows and RAF careers.
