Greek Club
The Club runs on three lunchtimes a week.
It is open to any member of the Second Year, particularly anyone who has made a good start in Latin, who is interested in the Classical World, or wants to learn an interesting new alphabet and language.
It is the perfect taster course for any student who might be interested in taking Greek as a possible GCSE subject. We use our own specially written textbook and guide the beginner through the letters of the alphabet and then onto basics of the language and even short stories by the end of the year.
Learning Greek is a superb way of exercising the brain, and we are one of the few schools in the country where pupils have the chance to learn this amazing language so early. This club is a must for any budding Caterham Classicist!
