Delightful Twilight Concert

Our final Twilight Concert took place at the end of a beautiful, sunny spring day and it was a joy to hear pupils from across the school perform on a variety of instruments. Twilight Concerts are an ideal platform for pupils who are preparing for exams or building confidence performing- an informal and relaxed recital with a small audience can be the perfect setting.

We are constantly impressed with our performers- taking on challenging and impressive pieces and this week’s concert had many jaw-dropping moments, including; Mumu Z’s performance of Lunde’s virtuosic Sonata for Alto Saxophone. Other outstanding performances were given by Ethan T, Abi P and Raymond O. Lucy B’s beautifully poised and polished performance of a Sonta by C.P.E Bach was a wonderful start to the concert and our youngest performer, Silfay M delighted with a jazzy rendition of the ‘Wallace and Gromit Theme’.
