Chamber Ensembles Perform at Prestigious Pro Corda

Caterham hosted the qualifying round of the Pro Corda National Chamber Music Festival for Schools, in which 6 Caterham instrumental ensembles participated. This was an excellent showcase for some of our most talented performers. Each ensemble performed one or two pieces and received feedback and coaching from the adjudicator. The standard of our ensembles was extremely high, and we hope that some groups will progress on to the semi-finals round in March.

Groups that participated were the Zheng Trio, Amadeus Trio, Bridge Trio, Flute Choir, and Saxophone Ensemble. The Prep School’s Soderberg Quartet also took part alongside our senior ensembles. Well done to all the pupils who took part and thank you to their ensemble leaders for preparing them.
