CATP Former Editor Steps into Oxford’s Iconic The Isis
Old Caterhamian and former editor of our ‘Cat Among the Pigeons’ arts and humanities magazine has put her editorial experience to excellent use following her move up to Oxford University. Ananya has been using her skills as Chief Editor of Oxford University’s longstanding magazine, The Isis.
The Isis was established in 1892 with names such as Sylvia Plath, Evelyn Waugh and Graham Greene part of the magazine’s editorial history. It is more than heartwarming to see that Ananya has used her experience of being Editor of our CATP magazine in 2021 to be chief editor of this iconic publication at Oxford.
Each year Caterham pupils write, edit and produce magazines for science and medicine as well as creative writing and humanities. It is a testament to the impact of Cat Among the Pigeons, and all school publications, that so many past pupil editors have gone onto work on University publications.
Here’s to the 8th edition in 2025 and where it leads our next cohort of pupils.
