National Youth Choir Success

Huge congratulations to Alfred D (Second Year) and Bjorn McG (Fith Year) who have been accepted into the National Youth Choir. Formerly known as the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the British Youth Choir, the NYC is a family of choirs for outstanding young singers and those with outstanding potential in the United Kingdom. This competitive organisation is at the centre of vocal development for young people and has a broad approach to repertoire and styles of music. It has its own record label and performances are featured on radio and TV.

Many singers from the NYC have gone on to achieve huge success in all areas of singing – from the West End stage, to composing and conducting. Alfred and Bjorn can look forward to an exciting time as singers in these wonderful choirs, and we look forward to celebrating their future achievements.
