Outstanding Performances Support Heritage Day at St John’s Church

Talented musicians (First Year to Upper Sixth) gave outstanding performances at St. John’s Church in Caterham with wonderful vocal and instrumental solos. Performers included; Emily B, Max K, Fiona Z, Ethan G, Jo B, Bjorn M and Sophia A.

Max K (U6) performed an acoustic cover version of ‘Snow Angel’, originally by Renee Rapp. His version captured something extremely special and displayed his excellence and command of singing. Listen to his version of ‘Snow Angel’ on Caterham Music’s YouTube channel.

Performances formed part of the church’s ‘Heritage Day’, something we were delighted to support once again. Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to places that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission. Every year on four days in September, buildings of every age, style and function throw open their doors. It is a once-a-year chance to discover architectural treasures and enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities that bring local history and culture to life.

Huge thanks go to our performers who have up their Saturday afternoon to support our local church. Much praise was given by attendees who all commented on the high standard of Caterham School musicians.
