Independent School of Year Awards – Best Use of Education Technology
Caterham has been shortlisted for The Independent Schools of the Year Awards for the best use of education technology. The shortlisting is in recognition of Caterham’s Digital and Innovation curriculum EDGE, followed by pupils from Reception in the Prep School and from First Year to Upper Sixth in the senior school, and its development and deployment of groundbreaking ed tech, including RileyBot. RileyBot is the first purpose built AI learning and teaching bot for use across all age ranges, adapting to the age and learning needs of each child.
On news of the shortlisting, Ceri Jones, Headmaster said: I am proud that Caterham School continues to be at the forefront of educational debate and change. It is exciting that the school continues to evolve and challenge the status quo. I am for ever mindful that one of the key functions of a school is to build community, relationships, and purpose, alongside inspiring a love of learning and that technology is best deployed in supporting and enhancing these things, not replacing them.”
