Independent Research Project Finals 2022
Independent Research Project Finals Evening, Thursday 10 November, 7.00pm
Humphreys Theatre, Caterham School
You are invited to join this every special evening. Six Upper Sixth Form finalists in this year’s Independent Research Project competition will be presenting their work in a bid to win prestigious prizes from our panel of judges.
There are opportunities for the audience to ask questions, as well as to vote for their favourite presentation in the night.
This year’s topics will be:
- The importance of being Mansfield – how did Wilde’s aestheticism and colonial upbringing shape Mansfield
- Is the concept of a ‘purified religion’, free from the constraints of cultural traditions, plausible?
- How do we quantify uncertainty?
- What is inside the brain of an alcoholic?
- What is the best quantum computing hardware architecture?
- What did power look like in early Imperial Rome?
Drinks will be available from 6.45pm in the foyer area of the Humphreys Theatre and the main event will start at 7.00pm
