Live Lounge Highlights
The Music Department welcomed in half term with another classic Live Lounge – a highlight of the musical calendar, the relaxed atmosphere was the perfect platform for our singer/songwriters to showcase their talents. With 20 performances across all age groups, and music from Guns ‘n’ Roses to Barry Manilow, our audience enjoyed a memorable evening.
Whilst all pupils performed with confidence and style, special mention must go to Lana C (Third Year) for her beautiful rendition of Bob Dylan’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’, William J and Henry B (First Year) for their delightful performance of Marshmallow’s ‘Happier’, Elena A (Upper Sixth Form) for her haunting version of Adele’s ‘All I Ask’ and Cameron H (Upper Sixth Form) for his stunning performance of Callum Scott’s ‘Dancing On My Own’.
Live Lounge is a regular fixture in the music calendar and we always welcome new performers. Please do look out for this wonderful opportunity to perform in the intimate setting of the Deayton Theatre accompanied by music staff.
