Orchard Theatre Festival, An Imaginative Delight
Congratulations to all First, Second and Third Year pupils who performed so imaginatively and professionally in the Orchard Theatre Festival last night. Despite not being able to perform outside to a live audience, as has been the tradition with this Festival, the pupils have been remarkable in their flexibility and good humour throughout all the changes and all gave outstanding performances that were streamed live from the Humphrey’s Theatre to an appreciative audience back home.
A selections of First and Second Year pupils performed as a range of inanimate objects – so if you’ve ever wondered what your diary would say if it could talk, all has now been revealed! The Third Years had lots of fun working as an ensemble to bring the infamous train scene from ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time’ to life, inspired by Frantic Assembly’s physical theatre style that made this play such a hit in the West End.
