Boarders Summer Fun
On Sunday 20 June the boarders enjoyed an exciting outdoor activities day. Following a fantastic alfresco lunch served from the ‘BattleCat’ mobile kitchen the pupils spent the afternoon in a range of outdoor activities. The sun shone on the school fields as the boarding pupils and staff tried their hand at archery and laser clay pigeon shooting. William (Upper Sixth Form) and Miss Walters proved to be particularly good shots, but most of the boarders and staff were merciful and allowed the clay pigeons to escape unharmed. The mid-afternoon arrival of an ice cream van provided a natural break before the pupils went into the school woods to play an energetic game of lasertag.
Great fun was had by all and particular thanks go to Mr Comerford and Miss Gibbs for arranging such a great day of activities.
