LAMDA Merits & Distinctions
Congratulations to the 50 students who took LAMDA exams at the end of March and who achieved an outstanding 19 Merits and 30 Distinctions between them, including seven pupils being awarded over 90 out of 100, this group of pupils, the largest cohort we’ve had taking exams at one time, should also be congratulated on achieving such superb results through a mixture of virtual teaching and just two live lessons after lockdown teaching before they took their exam. The exams were the widest ranging to date, covering all grades from 1-8 and a diverse mix of disciplines, from speaking in public, acting, musical theatre, devised and verse and prose.
Good luck to the next group of 27 students preparing to take their summer exams on 24 June, especially the Upper Sixth Form and Fifth Year pupils, many of whom are completing their exams since starting LAMDA lessons five years ago.
