Tennis

Tennis, along with athletics, is one of the girls’ main sports in the Summer Term. In addition to regular fixtures with other schools, the teams take part in the Surrey Leagues.

Tennis is a growing and successful sport with an increasing number of friendly fixtures to enable more pupils to compete. Most matches are in doubles format to enable more players to take part.

Girls’ tennis is taught on games afternoons and in turnouts for all years.

Boys’ tennis is a subsidiary summer sport with the main sport being cricket. Boys have the opportunity to opt for tennis in their games lessons from the Third Year upwards and fixtures take place for U14, U15 and senior age groups.
