Partnerships Continue
A virtual residential Easter course continued for our United Access programme, a vital part of Caterham’s partnership work. The week kicked off with five undergraduate mentors benefitting from some coaching training with Mr Wells. Day 2 saw inspirational sessions on English, economics and politics, maths and psychology with the academy pupils who are now in Year 12. The pupils also took part in some higher order thinking and life coaching with their undergraduate mentors supporting throughout the sessions.
The final day of the Easter ‘residential’ saw pupils reunited with Carl Konadu of 2-3 Degrees who led a timely and lively interactive session on ‘Staying Positive in Uncertain Times, Forging Your Own Path’.
