A Musical Evening at St James’s Piccadilly
A MUSICAL EVENING WITH CATERHAM SCHOOL: Thursday 16 March, 7.30pm. St James’s, Piccadilly
Caterham School presents an evening of choral, vocal and orchestral music showcasing their talented young performers. Choirs will perform a programme centred around ‘peace’ and repertoire will include Bob Chilcott’s Peace Mass, Allegri’s Miserere and motets by Purcell, Gibbons and Eric Thiman an Old Caterhamian. The chamber orchestra, Sinfonia will perform a varied repertoire to include Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture.
Some of the school’s most talented pupils will perform a selection of vocal pieces including ‘Mein Herr Maquis’ from Die Fledermaus by Strauss.
Tickets: not required, charitable donations to be collected
Please note that the launch of Preview (Sixth Form Politics Magazine) will be taking place at Portcullis House, Westminster, SW1 on the same evening (Thursday 16 March, 2017).
